The Technique Structure
Inhale quietly through your nose for 4 seconds, gently hold your breath for a span of 7 seconds, and release an audible, complete exhale through your mouth for 8 seconds.
On-Air Guide Script
Exhale completely through your mouth, making a gentle whoosh sound. Empty your lungs entirely, letting go of any residual tension from yesterday or the night.
Close your mouth and inhale quietly through your nose to a mental count of four. Feel the breath expanding deep into your diaphragm, anchoring your presence.
Hold your breath right there for a count of seven. Keep your body calm, your shoulders down, and let the quiet stillness settle into your nervous system.
Exhale completely through your mouth, making a steady whoosh sound to a count of eight. Push the air out completely, clearing away the mental chatter.
Repeat this exact breathing cycle for a total of four consecutive rounds to shift your internal biochemistry and reclaim your focus.
