The Intentional Life Blueprint
Affirmation Log
Two Minutes to Set Your Internal Compass
An affirmation is a short, positive statement you say or write to yourself, on purpose, in the present tense — as if it’s already true. It’s not wishful thinking. It’s a deliberate rehearsal for the mindset you want to walk into today with.
How to Craft One That Actually Works
- Keep it present tense — “I am,” not “I will be.”
- Make it personal and specific. “I am prepared for today’s meeting” lands harder than “I am successful.”
- Keep it short enough to remember without rereading it.
- Say it like it’s already true, not like a hope.
- Write to what’s actually on your mind today, not a generic line you saw once and liked.
